| Of all places, found my wife's cousins in Bangkok. |
After my stint in the UAE, I have proceeded to establish myself in the Philippine market. Ive been out of the country for 8 years and now I am back where I belong. Not long after I have settled, Now I am travelling again. This time its Bangkok, Thailand. I don't know what happened but somehow my work keep pushing me abroad. I do hope this lead pans out. Even for a short period of time I got a chance to love Thailand.
Short tips when you travel to Thailand. Try to bring a map with thai writings. Taxi Drivers understand english they say, but can't speak it. Thus creating problems in communications. Try learning short phrases as well. Also, transport costs are prohibitive so learn to use the trains as soon as possible. I first took a cab when I arrived from the airport to my hotel, only to find out later that I could have saved 75% of the cost if I took the train. Oh well, part of learning and doing business in Thailand.
