Face Of International 2019 Will Happen Here In the Philippines

The seven year strong international pageant will be holding their event here in the Philippines for the first time. This was announced at the latest press conference held at the El Calle Food and Music Hall of the Resorts World Manila. This marks their official introduction of the pageant into the country, their organization is also known for their focus on social awareness and holistic beauty.

Face of Beauty International 2018 Myint Mo May and 2017 winner Pai Tanisa graced the event to share their experiences during the competition and of how it changed their lives after their win. The two joined pageant owner and CEO Mila Manuel along with Philippine franchisee EMPRO, whose officers discussed what the viewers and candidates can expect from this year’s proceedings.

One of the things discussed were their humanitarian campaign called “I Am Me”. It is both a workshop and charity program that centers on identifying social issues that haunt a host country as well as providing viable solutions. It also aims to mold the candidates into becoming icons of goodwill and vessels of social change as they become community leaders in their respective home countries.

Through this campaign, the candidates from previous pageants have joined rallies in India to advocate for women’s rights and have also participated in clean up drives, among others. This year, the “I Am Me” campaign will be helping out the Aeta communities in Pampanga.

“I am looking forward to this year’s competition. Many of the ladies who have qualified for the pageant have a good shot at winning the crown. They are beautiful, bold and have big hearts. I’m also excited about the competition being held in my home country and I hope my countrymen will support the Philippine representative for this year’s pageant,” Rosantonette Mendoza, Face of Beauty Philippines 2018 and EMPRO’s PR Manager said.

Face of Beauty International 2019 competition period will run on November 9-18 at various locations at the Clark Freeport Zone. The coronation night will be on November 17 at the Royce Hotel and Casino. The pageant will have candidates from all corners of the globe including Australia, Canada, China, Netherlands and the Philippines.
