First Beauty Pageant in the Maritime Industry - Miss Seaway 2019

In the industry's first, the maritime industry finally went with its own beauty pageant.  Aptly named, Miss Seaway 2019, the organization, Seaway Magazine, espouses gender equality in the maritime industry.

Winner of the pageant shall get aside from crown and plaque, the victor shall be granted a Php200,000 worth of cash prize and products from event sponsors.  The company she represents shall also win, a free four advertising posting in Seaway Magazine.  Special prizes are also in store for the 12 lovely women presented to the media today.

First of the special prizes were given today, the Darling of the Press.  The people of the Press voted for Miss Thenamaris.  First runner up went to Miss CompMan and Second Runner up to Miss SBR.

Coronation night will be on December 6, 2019 at the CCP open grounds near Harbour Square in Manila.  As an added treat, there's a car show and music fest also happening at the venue, aside from the lovely DJ's who will be pumping the crowd with music, Itchyworms, shall also grace the event for the delight of the crowd.
