Hi guys, its been a while since my last write up and what way to come back with a bang is to write about COMIC CON 2014!!!!
It's my second year to shoot for 7days in the comic con and I thank them and Gulf Photo Plus for trusting me to do this once again. Shooting here is not considered work but fun related. Thanks guys.
I've had my share of different comic cons in the philippines where the market has matured already. In this event, I can say its still in its formative years yet this baby is growing fast. Imagine Marvel had a booth in this years Comic Con. With other big name stars planing in from Hollywood like Tony Jaa (Ong Bak), Gustavo Fring (Giancarlo Esposito) of Breaking Bad, Michael Jae White (Universal Soldier) and Seth Green (Dr Evil's Son). This is becoming a contender indeed for comic con worldwide domination.
Other comic con stalwarts were present, artists, cosplayers, writers, and even Stan Lee was present (via live feed) and answered some questions.....
Overall it was an awesome event for geeks and non-geeks alike. Its seldom that you see people dress weird and freaky in this side of the world so this was a welcome thing for me. For a few hours during the 3 days made me feel that I'm back in my home country. Only difference? I was speaking english the whole day.
